Synopsis

Owen is having a truly bad day. For starters, he still hasn’t finished the mysterious device he’s been constructing for years in his parents’ garage. To make matters worse, Karen—the love of his life—leaves him, convinced that his endless tinkering is an excuse to avoid living. And to top things off, when he switches on his device, determined to prove Karen wrong, he accidentally creates a tiny black hole that will soon end the world. Great. Now, to save the planet (or at least win Karen back), he’ll have to face federal agents, an angry mob, a hyperactive cat, bowling shoes, a whole bunch of condiments, and worst of all: his parents.

Love & Other Unstable States of Matter is a comedy about realizing what’s most important in life … and how we spend the time we’re given.
